Based in New York, United States Dimitra Manis is the newly appointed Senior Vice President, Global Head of Talent for Thomson Reuters. Dimitra has spent the past twenty years as a Human Resources generalist with deep talent knowledge and experience. For the past six years, she has held HR leadership roles with AXA Group, a Paris-based global leader in financial services, with 2008 revenues of EUR 91.2 billion and 175,000 employees. Her most recent position at AXA was Group Senior Vice President, Executive Management, where she was responsible for implementing global talent strategy, management, development and succession planning. Prior to that, she was General Manager, HR and Internal Communications, for AXA Asia Pacific, where she established the vision and strategy for the AXA HR function and devised the structure and operating model to strategically support the AXA Asia Pacific business model.
She is a graduate of the Human Resources Executive Program, Stanford Business School. She has sat on a number of boards, including The Australian Retail Association and two educational institutions in Australia. In addition, Dimitra worked at Monash University for three years teaching Strategic Management and Organisational Psychology.
